Hello, and welcome to Ishara Kids. My name is Alok. I’m Deaf, I’m a teacher of deaf children, and I’m one of the founders of Ishara Kids.
At Ishara Kids, deaf and hard-of-hearing children learn in Indian Sign Language, with Hindi and English alongside. We have a centre in Noida, and an app so that families can keep learning at home.

Our founder story
Born From Love. Shaped by a Sibling’s Bond.
Ishara Kids didn’t start in a corporate office — it started right in our living room. We are a sister-brother co-founding duo, and our lives changed completely the day my brother was diagnosed as 100% deaf.
Growing up, we lived through the hurdles firsthand: the lack of specialised early education, the heavy costs of therapy, and the struggle to find daily home-learning tools that actually worked without sound.
We saw how tough it was for our family, and we promised to make it easier for yours. Ishara Kids is the ecosystem we wish we had when we were growing up. We’re turning our personal journey into a promise that no deaf child will ever be left behind in silence.
